Description

Wheat Paste Posters

Are you ready to launch your next street poster posting campaign? When it comes to wheatpaste posting, nobody does it better than our high-quality wheatpaste posters. These same-day printed posters come in the usual wheat paste poster sizes of 24×36 and big format 48×72, making them suitable for storefronts, construction site fences, wallscapes, and any wall surface. When you need professional-grade wheatpaste posters for guerrilla advertising, go no farther than 1800 Printing. Storefronts, construction site fences, wallscapes, and any other wall surface will benefit from our same-day wheatpaste poster printing materials, which are available in the typical wheat paste poster sizes of 24×36 and enormous format 48×72.

Posters constructed of thin paper and wheatpaste, a handmade adhesive concoction, are commonly seen affixed to outdoor walls and surfaces. Posters, sketches, and paintings on paper can easily be tacked up on the walls. Posters are glued on any surface with wheatpaste by a wide variety of people, from underground activists and street artists to concert promoters. It’s a powerful way to get your ideas out there without breaking the bank. Here are two methods for making paste that, when prepared properly, both harden and soften. For starters, supply is low and demand is high. Second, there’s a great number of them. All of the recipes are readily multiplied by two or three. I can see how that could be the case. White or wood glue can be added if you find the consistency to be too thin.

Posters can be made with wheatpaste by boiling together two parts white or whole-grain wheat flour and three parts water, whisking to eliminate any lumps. As it thickens, add more water and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Our wheatpaste posters were a huge hit! It’s of excellent quality and looks fantastic on the wall! It wasn’t as large as I expected, but that’s my own for not measuring well! But it was still very large, and it looks fantastic! Their goods are fantastic! I’m not a huge fan of paying for anything before seeing it, but we did, and now that we know, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again!

I don’t know what else to say except WOW! It gives my recently built music studio a legitimate brand/ All I need now is some cool posters for inside and I’ll be good to go! Thank you very much Wild Window Graphics!

I’m very pleased with how the wheatpaste posters came out! The size is ideal, and it easily adheres to the wall. I’d purchase from them again in a heartbeat.

  4. K Agency

This is the first time we’ve ordered wheatpaste poster printings from Wild Window Graphics, and we’ll be back. These are of excellent quality, simple to install as the paper they use is pretty thin. We’re an agency and it’s not easy to find a good printer who isn’t outsourcing to someone else but these guys are the real deal.

This is the fourth large poster that Wild Window Graphics has created for me, and I am really pleased with all of them. I’m a Photoshop aficionado who works with images from the Library of Congress’s holdings. The two photographs turned into posters by Wild Window Graphics were originally scans of photos taken in 1942 of the old New York City El trains (produced from 4″x5″ negatives, most likely using a Speed Graphic press camera). They were both in poor shape and needed a lot of tedious editing, but it was done, and they created two massive posters that look fantastic framed on my den walls; they made all the effort worthwhile.

Printing Products FAQ

Need some help with your artwork files or print preparation? Chat with one of our expert team today who can guide you through the entire ordering process.

How should I prepare my artwork files?

  • Instead of RGB, use CMYK to create your files.
  • Change the font color from 4c to 100% K for black letters.
  • Enter the required Pantone or HKS colors in the color channel when using special colors.
  • Advice on using unique colors: Instead of employing overprinting, knockout may be used to combine a specific color with another process color (CMYK). Over a CMYK color, knockout should be used to create distinctive colors.
  • Use the greyscale color mode when placing an order for a greyscale item.
  • Create grey areas in various hues of black to ensure a perfect greyscale print result.

Size of the image

250 dpi for graphics, images and photographs.
250 dpi for color and greyscale pictures.
1.200 dpi line artwork (drawings and text at a tiny font size).
150 dpi for advertising technology and text-based ad posters
72 dpi for advertising technological items.

You may save your files in print-ready vector formats like PDF, EPS, AI, PS, JPG, or TIF. Reduce all layers to a single, flat background layer.

Embedded Paths & Fonts

Convert all of your fonts and paths to outlines to prevent printing difficulties (or if we do not have the exact font on our systems).

Make sure there is adequate contrast between the text and background colors.

Advice for the Best Results

Use full-bleed images wherever possible.
To get the best possible effect, use full-bleed images with graphics that fill the paper’s whole surface.

In designs, borders should be avoided.
You shouldn’t use borders in your designs. The borders may seem uneven if the print moves while being cut.

Your photos should be uploaded in the correct orientation.
You may arrange images either horizontally or vertically. When designing a product, upload your print file in the proper orientation.

Are your products eco-friendly?

We are in awe of our lovely planet and believe that it must be protected. Although becoming green was an easy decision for us, we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone else. We believe that even the smallest choices we make over time might have a significant effect. As a consequence, it is our goal to increase accessibility to ecologically friendly solutions.

All of our products, along with the packaging and mailers we use to ship your order, are made entirely of recycled paper. Since all of the paper we use is made from recycled resources, no trees are killed or damaged in the process.

To further lessen our carbon footprint, we only print utilizing non-toxic digital toners and eco-friendly inks. We’re always on the lookout for new ways to integrate sustainability into our daily operations.

Paper: We only use 100% PCW paper that has received FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certification. We employ biogas, which is the energy generated by decaying landfill waste and is collected and utilized for paper making at the mill, instead of carbon or nuclear energy. This results in yearly CO2 savings of thousands of tons.

Printing: To keep our air and water free of pollutants, we exclusively print using non-toxic inks instead of risky inks that contain VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

All of our products are sourced from the US and Canada to guarantee that our quality and sustainability standards are met. We print everything at our Brooklyn facility in New York, NY.

Are your files checked before printing?

Our team double-checks all of the work before printing. We’ll inform you and provide instructions on how to change the format if we encounter any problems with the files. Please be aware that size and color mode conversions will be carried out automatically without your participation.

Before printing, we make sure:

  • If the files are in a format that is recognized (PDF, JPG, TIFF, EPS or PS).
  • if the page number is accurate
  • if the grayscale version of the file you supplied (only if you have ordered a color print)
  • if the file’s size is accurate (if not, we will scale your work to the appropriate size, which may result in a loss of resolution). There won’t be any more bleeding after the printing procedure.
  • Check to see whether the proper fonts have been used in the document if the drill lines have been predetermined.

Can I pickup my prints?

Pickup is available at our Brooklyn facility from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. You may always use our contact form, and we’ll get in touch with you within an hour.  Both by car and rail, it’s easy to get to our location.

Why do my artworks need bleed?

To prevent white blotches on the printed output, all files should have a 2mm bleed on each side. Accordingly, your design must always be 2 mm larger than the print format (including pictures and graphics). Failure to do so could lead to insignificant deviations, like white edges. To ensure that they are seen, position fonts and other important elements of your artwork at least 3mm (bleeding excluded) from the format’s edge.

Optional:

  • The bleed should be 4mm on either side when providing data in an open format for printing (e.g., A4 size with bleed should be 301 x 214mm).
  • If submitting files for presentation folders, banners, monthly calendars, packaging, or any other promotional
  • technology goods, please provide a file with 3mm bleed on either side.
  • There should be 1mm of bleed on either side of the envelope.
  • The cloth elastic frames need to have 15mm bled.
